Shows you where
Ask where something is, and Opie rings it and puts a label next to it. You don't hunt for the button it describes. You see it.
Hold a key and ask out loud. Opie sees what you see, answers with a voice, and draws while it explains: a ring around the button, an arrow, steps you can follow.
Free to start. For Mac with macOS 14.2 or later, and as a preview for Windows.
A real recording, without sound: Opie explains how a jet engine works, marks up the article as it talks, and builds the engine in 3D.
No need to describe what's in front of you. Opie looks at your screen when you ask, and answers on it.

In Teach me, Opie points at the next button, waits until you've clicked it yourself, then gives you the next step. You learn it with your own hands.
Opie makes notes with diagrams, and 3D models that build up part by part while it talks. It can cut them open so you see what's inside.
In Do it for me, Opie opens apps and works in them: it writes, fills in forms and sets reminders. Before anything is saved or sent, it reads it back and asks you.
What you learn with Opie, you can find again. It stays on your Mac, not with us.
Every lesson is saved as steps, with the marks and a small picture of the spot on screen. Play it on screen again, save it as a PDF, or share it with someone.
Opie keeps a list of what you've learned that you can see and delete. Ask “what did I learn this week?” for a short recap.
Invite someone in your family and pay for their plan. If they agree, you see the titles and dates of what they've learned. Never screenshots or conversations.
When you ask, the screenshot and your question go on to the language model, and the answer comes straight back to you. Our server keeps no screenshots, audio, text, questions or answers.
One account, one bill. Sign in to the app and the voice and the language model are ready. No keys and no other accounts.
If you have Claude, Opie uses it through Claude Code. If you have ChatGPT, it goes through Codex, and the voice uses your own ElevenLabs key. Then Opie is free, and the limits are your subscription's.
The only difference is how much you can use each month.
Open the file and drag Opie to Applications. It's signed by Daia AS and notarized by Apple.
Sign in with your email to use an Opie plan, or connect Claude or ChatGPT.
Hold control and option, ask, and let go. The first time, Opie asks for access to the microphone and the screen.
